UnZip everything to a folder and run xDelta GUI. Select HeaderFix.patch for the patch and RubberBands.nds for the rom
This Patch fixes the rom's bad header has been tested on AKAIO 1.7.1
WARNING : This Patch may render the game unplayable on No$GBA. If you are not planning to play this Homebrew on a FlashCart, DO NOT RUN THIS PATCH. Otherwise, this patch is recommended , as the header info in the unpatched rom is bad.

"Rubber Bands" testing release 06/30/2006

NEW IN THIS VERSION:
1. Made particles larger and brighter, easier to see.
2. Fixed engine slowdown in Complete and EggDrop game modes.
3. A few more "Complete" levels included.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A little info about the game:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* based on my own particle physics library, written specifically for this game,
  to learn DS programming.

* currently everything is done with normal floating point math, so complex scenes
definately have slow-down. If I feel up to it, I might try converting the entire
thing over to fixed point math, which should speed everything up quite a bit.

* There are still some errors in the rubber band detection that cause particles to
fall out the wrong side, etc. this is especially evident in the "Egg Drop" minigame.
I will try to work out these problems by release.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO PLAY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The game is mostly stylus-based. you can navigate the main menu with the stylus
or the + pad. touch "START" to play the selected mini-game, or press A.

--------------------------------
HIGH THROW
--------------------------------
You get 3 tries to throw the rubber band as high as you can. wait for the
band to settle and the game will automatically reset to throw again.

--------------------------------
CATCH
--------------------------------
Try to catch the particles that drop from the top, and slow them down so they
touch the ground gently. if they hit too hard the world will flash, and you will
not get a point for that particle.

--------------------------------
BASKET
--------------------------------
drag the stylus to create rubber bands. try to flick the particles into the
basket by adjusting the rubber bands. the next particle spawns when the previous
one settles (and disappears).

--------------------------------
COMPLETE
--------------------------------
Try to setup some rubber bands that will guide the particle from the spawn point, to
settle at the finish point. the finish point is anywhere inside the green rectangle
you see on-screen. you have a limited amount of length of rubber band you can use,
that you can divide however you like in up to 5 different bands.

--------------------------------
EGG DROP
--------------------------------
Build a structure to protect the special green particle.
Construction has 3 modes: PARTICLE, BAND, and ROD. Press X to switch modes.

PARTICLE MODE:
Touch to add particles, or drag to move existing particles.
hold L or R and touch to remove a particle.

BAND MODE:
drag from 1 particle to another to connect with a rubber band. you can
drag the band around other particles if you want. (slightly buggy)

ROD MODE:
drag from 1 particle to another to connect with a stiff rod.
Stiff rods keep particles at a certain distance, but DO NOT COLLIDE with the
world. only particles can collide with the world.

Press A to test your creation... see how far it can fall before the green particle hits a
wall!
