AmplituDS release
=================

Licensing information:
----------------------

AmplituDS is licensed under the MPL 1.1 license. Details can be found in MPL-1.1.txt.
SylphDS is licensed under the MPL 1.1 license. Details can be found in MPL-1.1.txt.
libmikmod is licensed under the LGPL; details are in the libmikmod source folder.

FAT media support uses Chism's driver; see the gba_nds_fat folder for details.

AmplituDS uses a modified libmikmod to play IT music files. It does this, using the
music control functionality for the libmikmod library of SylphDS (also slightly
modified).

The modifications to libmikmod and SylphDS's music control functionality are listed
in the source code files, as required by the licenses.
These modifications are 1) being able to use calls to control the volume of each
instrument playing in the IT file at runtime, and 2) adding control for playback
of soundfiles on the ARM7, and 3) utilizing 4 of the DS channels instead of just 2
for music playback.

Thanks:
-------

Thanks goes out to the creators of libmikmod, and also to the creator of SylphDS (ficedula).

Thanks to tssf for helping me out with ideas on how to get actual music up and running
and how I might be able to control it for this game. And also for his musical contributions.

Thanks to tepples for providing me with audio samples, feedback, and the means to
implement the powerup freestyle in the game (based on the homebrew AXE created by him).

And retrohead. He helped me out with testing new builds, finding bugs, creating track
layouts and much more. Thank you, retro.

Also a big thanks to Chris Huelsbeck for giving permission to remix the theme songs of
Turrican, under the condition that it is only used in AmplituDS and AmplituDS being
free of charge.
Thanks to tssf for doing the actual remix (which he's still improving). Great job.

And the smb remix was done by Chris Hampton (email at solcoyote@gmail.com)
