Once he is facing her, strike at his back. * Follow the path once it's open. Avoid the enemy in the next room and go to the other side of the fire wall by using Zelda as a moving shield. * She will indicate which ledge you can use to jump on her shield. Do so. * Now go back and blow the previous enemy from his stone pedestal using the Whirlwind. Quickly jump down and finish him off. * Go back and jump on her shield again. * Make your way towards the far right, where the key is, avoiding the middle flame jet. * Blow the key down with the Whirldwind and pick it up. * Just head up to the door, now avoiding the enemies. * Pick up the rail map. 4. Throw the Boomerang so it hits the switch on the unreachable ledge. * Push the bell down - left - up - left - down - right - down - left - down. * Throw the Boomerang so that it hits the big bell once, small bell twice and then big bell once again. Go through the door. * In this room throw the Boomerang so that it hits the torches in the follow order: middle - top right - bottom right - top left - bottom left. * In the next room have the Boomerang create a bridge for you by throwing it through the blue fire. You need to reach the bottom right ledge and get the key. * Go through the locked door behind you. * Defeat the enemies here by thawing them up with the boomerang and the fire. * Once the door is open have the Boomerang catch fire and hit the block of ice against the north wall to reveal a totem. * Go back down and make yourself a path across the water just far enough so you can spin the totem using the Whirlwind. * Finished the path and get to the top-right ledge. * Now slowly make your way across the lake to the other side. You can find a stamp on the far right ledge. * In the next room, ignore the bell for now and make yourself a path to the bottom-right ledge, and hit the switch. * Now push the bell up - right - down - left - up. * Create a frost path and push the bell to the right. Cross together with it. * Transfer the blue fire to the unlit torch in this room using the Boomerang. * Cover the small lake with ice, then push the bell down - left - down - left - up - right. * Hit the 3 bells in the following order with the boomerang: Big - Medium - Medium - Small - Medium. * Head north through the door. * You must light the 6 torches on the left with either blue or red fire. Start from the top one, going clockwise: Blue, Blue, Red, Blue, Red, Red. Note that you must light all 6 in one boomerang swing. * Cross the corridor to the other chamber. * Stun the wolves with the boomerang and finish them off with the sword. * Go right, and stand on the switch. * Move the Big Key to the bridge using the whirldwind. * Pick up the key and enter the boss room. ::::::Defeating Fraaz:::::: * Once the fight starts, hit him with the Boomerang imbued with whatever is opposite to what he has. * While he is stunned, hit him with you sword! * Once he splits, hit one of the small ones with the Boomerang to see whether it's ice or fire based. * You need to hit the fire one with ice and vice versa once they're not transparent. * When he comes together again he will destroy the torches. Now, when he shoots fire at you it'll leave fire patches behind and frost will leave frost patches. You have to use those to stun him like before. * Always note whether he's charging up fire or frost. * Rinse and repeat, after 3 "gathered" phases he will go down. 5. Into the Darkness: Tower of Spirits 3 ::::::Get the third Rail Map:::::: * Once you're done in the temple, head all the way to the bottom right to the Tower of Spirits. * You can stop at the bridge builder on the way there to get your mail. * Climb to the new floor of the Tower of Spirits. * Use the boomerang to light torches as you go. * Take the left on the first crossing and light the 2 torches up there. * Pick up the bomb flower and blow up the northern wall between the two torches. * Enter the secret room and pick up the treasure. * Go south now, light up the torches and stand in the light so that the ghost doesn't attack you. * Follow the torches all the way to the right and up the stairs. * Light up the torch to the left and run there. * The next torch is to the far left, south of the tablet. In order to reach both the lit one and the one you have to light you have to partially stand in the darkness, so be careful. * Once that torch is lit, light up the 3 above it. * Go north to the safe zone and light the torch to the right of it. * In order to reach the first tear, turn right and go that way until you hit a wall. Turn right and you'll reach it. * Return the same way to the first safe zone and go the other way, up. Light the torches as you go. * Once you are at the safe spot with the bomb flower on it, make sure you have a clear run to the far right corner of the room. * When you do, take the flower and run all the way to the lit torch. Throw it next to the torch to blow up the wall and reach the second Tear. * Now head back to the safe zone and light the torch to the left of it, and another to the far left of that one. * The third torch is to the far south and you'll once again have to step into the darkness, so be careful of ghosts. * Go through the slim passage to the left and pick up the last Tear. * Now go and whack yourself a phantom! * Once Zelda is in the phantom go south-west to the bridge you couldn't cross because of the darkness. * Have Zelda take the lead and follow the path. * Light the two torches with Zelda to open the door. * In the next room go right and leave link on the first switch you see. Lead Zelda to the right to reveal another switch in the dark. * Once both of them are standing on a switch the door will open. Call Zelda to come to you. * Enter the next room and slowly make your way to the right and into a small corridor. * When you reach the red door in front of the Big Key, tap it and it'll request you to draw a symbol. * Draw a "Z" on the door and it'll open. * Have Zelda take the key. * Now move your way up and guard Zelda from the wall masters. If one of them hits her she will drop the key. If that happens you have to hit it to drop the key. * Lead Zelda to the door and move up into the next room. * The fight is similar to the last one, other than that this guy has a fire breath which has a pretty nasty range. * Have Zelda attack him and move behind his back while he's busy with her, then strike. * Take the treasure from the chest and move into the next room for the Rail Map! 6. When he does, run out of range. * After a while, the small pirates will start coming out again (While he's still there) and try to kidnap Carben. * When he's near death he'll do a double swing with his mace so don't rush in right after he swings the first time. * Once the big one is down, continue to the sanctuary. * After the talk head to the shrine the same way as before. * Play the song with Carben. ::::::Getting to the Ocean Temple:::::: * Go to the train and set course east. * When you are approaching the right-most island (The one marked 1 on Carben's map) blow your horn before the island. * If done correctly the crystal on top of the island will glow blue. (The timing is a bit dodgy so just start blowing your horn when you're close to the island. Basically you have to blow the horn when the orb is in your view.) * The second orb will be to your right as you approach the island marked 2 from the east (Go around the water temple). * Take a left on the island and then two rights to reach orb number three (The little dead end on the map). * Once all 3 orbs are lit, a giant fish head will appear, leading you to the ocean floor. * Just set course to the ocean temple once you're down below. Be careful of the evil trains, make sure to avoid them. ::::::Getting the Whip:::::: * Once inside the temple, move left, past the room with the tablets. * Just keep running through the corridor with the statues so you don't get hit. * On the next floor stand on the stone block and it'll start moving. * Block incoming arrows with your shield (Just face the statue). * Hit the orbs in the following order with your boomerang: Left - Right - Top - Bottom * Enter the opened door but do not step into the corridor leading north. * Instead, hit the switch above you with a boomerang. * Go back to the begining of the temple. * Now go right at the first junction and follow the path until you go up the stairs on the top right. * Head down and right into the corridor leading to the door. * Enter the central chamber to battle the whip master. * The easiest way to defeat him is to wait until he grabs your leg (A noticably longer swing) and then running away from him. * Just as you hear him bringing the whip back in to slam you, turn around and ready a swing. As soon as get in range let him have it. * Take the Whip from the chest. ::::::Getting to the Boss:::::: * From the central chamber, go west. * Equip the whip and tap the wooden pole above the chasm to cross to the other side. * Go up to the next level and cross the hole there. * Go to the far right and use the whip to pull out the "tongue" of the statue. * Go up the right-most path and pull that switch to expand a bridge. * Enter the door here and go left. * Pull the sword out of the mouth of one statue and shoot it into the mouth of the other. * Take the key from the chest and head north, all the way to the locked door. * Once up, pull the switch to your left to create a shortcut for later on. * Chain jump across the huge hole and enter the room below. * In order to defeat the enemies here you have to pull their armor away with the whip. * Go up, defeat the enemies, and left across the narrow path in the middle. * Pull the spinner and a mini-helicopter will pop out. * Whip it and hold the stylus down. * It will carry you to a high ledge. Let go and enter the door. * Kill the enemies here using the sword from the wall (Aiming is a bit tricky). * Go back and let yourself be carried down. * Pull out the 3 swords that are next to each other (Right where you landed) and destroy them. * Poles will appear allowing you to cross the hole. * Go accross and up to the 6th floor. * Cross this hole but note that the last pole is much lower than the rest. You have to let yourself drop a bit before you can grab hold of it. * Hit the switch then move down. * From the central part move right on the small ledge. * Propel yourself to the platform above with the whip once you reach the wall on the right. * Take the small key and return the previous room (Note that jumping accross the hole is a bit tricky). * You now have to re-arrange the swords in the statue mouths in order to move on. The placement is: o Top Left - Blank - Blank - Sword - Blank - Sword o Top Right - Blank - Blank - Sword - Blank - Sword o Bottom Left - All Blank o Bottom Right - Sword - Blank - Sword * Once the wall is gone, open the locked door to the south and swing yourself over. * On the final floor, spin the flying zoomer and grab hold of it. * Let go when you're above the moving block. * Hit the switch on the platform with the big key. * Take the key and move forward. Wallmaster's will appear. * Drop the key and kill the initial two. * Quickly grab the key and run towards the lock. * Enter the boss room. ::::::Defeating Phytops:::::: * Swing yourself from platform to platform until you reach the tentacle showing out of the wall. * Whip it to remove a thorn the shoot it back in its eye. * Avoid falling slime. * Use the flyer to get to the top. * When the fight begins, wait until he shoots off his slime, dodge it. * Grab a thorn from a tentacle and shoot it at one of the center bottom blobs on his face. * Shoot off both of them and he'll open his eye. * Shoot one last thorn into it to stun him and make him vulnerable. * He will submerge and attack you with two tentacles. Run to the far right when the left one is striking and vica versa. * After a while he will also start slowly rotation while you shoot at him, making it harder. * He will also attack you with his tentacles while he is above surface after a while. Quick reflexes are required. 7. Go down and take the first left. * Climb up the slope and switch the sword from the middle fish statue to the right. * Jump down on the left and pick up the key from the chest. * Go back up and swing yourself to the left. * Follow the path around the edge of the room until you reach the Tear of Light in the middle. * Even if the sentries see you at any point, just keep running towards the nearest safe zone. * Once you have the two tears, make your way to the locked door on the top-right. * On this floor it's all about stealth. Go left through the safe zone until you reach the turn. * Use the boomerang to stun the sentry without it seeing you, then run past it quickly. * Rinse and repeat for the second one. * Hit the boomerang against a wall to distract the phantom, then run for the third Tear. * Just wait for the phantom to come back and jam your sword into it. * Now head back to the previous floor and go all the way to the bottom left chest with a small key. * Move Link to the switch behind the locked door to the far left, and have Zelda teleport to the locked out region in the top left. * Move Zelda down to the switch. * Have both her and Link hit their switches at the same time. * Go up and onto the next floor. * Follow the path and have Zelda stand on the first switch you come accross. * Move Link a bit to the right for the second switch. * Move Zelda accross the bridge. * Further right there are some spikes. Move Zelda accross and onto the circle portal on the top right. * Go right with Link and into the dead end for a second portal. Move it left then up and onto one of the switches. * Go left to the rectangular teleport and switch places with Zelda. * Move her to the other switch to remove the spikes and allow Link to come in normally. * Reunite with Zelda in front of the double-winged door and kill the enemy there. * Note that the old trick of attacking him with Zelda first will only work twice. But it's much easier now since you can remove his shield with your whip. * Open the door with Zelda and Link together and finally take the key. * Move Link back to the central area, and have Zelda teleport to the left sentry. * Move her down next to the sand patch. * Stand on the edge with Link and hit the switch in the top-left corner (Accross the sand patch where Zelda is) with your Boomerang. * Cross over with Zelda and go all the way down to the circle teleporter. * Switch with Link. * Teleport back with Zelda using the sentry and move her accross the newly formed bridge again. * Go down and step on the switch that is isolated in it's own mini room to make the spikes dissappear. * Move in with Link now. * Have Zelda clear the boulders as you make your way up the spike corridor. * Step with Link on on of the two switches to he right and Zelda on the other to make the bridge expand. * Now go north with Link and stun the sentry with your boomerang. * Use the Whirlwind to move the sentry all the way to the top left where the two switches are. * Teleport Zelda there. * Have them stand on one switch each to open up the door. * Run back with Link and teleport Zelda and go up to the next floor. * Teleport Zelda to the left. * Enter the grid on the green tile, then move all the way to the top right - bottom left- top left - bottom right. Wait until it's only one boulder then run to the chasm left behind him. * Now wait until the next set of boulders pass and run the rest of the way and out to the lava pool. * Go down and past the switch. * Once the switch is hit a far-off bridge will be expanded. * In order to have enough time you must hit the switch from as far away as possible wit the boomerang. * Once the bridge is out quickly swing yourself over to the ledge north and run accross the bridge. * Head up north through the passage. * After the talk head back to the previous area and go right. * Swing yourself accross and follow the path south. When you reach the two torches jump down and go right to the begining area. * Move right to initiate the cutscene. * Get into the train and to the Snow Realm. * Enter Anouki Village. * Talk to the first Anouki when inside. * Head left to the pond and talk to the blue Anouki. * Agree to drive him and get back to the train. * Go to the station north of the bridge builder's house, where the train obsessed fellow lives. * Talk to the Anouki next to the lake. * Enter the house to the right, then exit right after. * Talk to the Anouki again to receive the ice. * Now travel east to the Fire Realm, and go as fast as possible to the goron village. * You must avoid getting hit by enemies at all cost. * Once in the fire realm you can't go the direct route to goron village because of the evil train waiting there. * Take a left at the first junction and go as fast as you can to the goron village, avoiding the 2 trains here. * Once inside head left and talk to Karagon. ::::::Getting to Embrose:::::: * Now that the lava is gone go up to the wide house on top of the mountain. * Once the talk is over, head into the cave. * Follow the path until you reach a switch, then activate it. * Go accross the lava lake on the right. * When you reach the wall of pots, only clear the middle ones, and avoid the ones that are shaking occassionaly. * Once you're out of the cave follow the path until the first turn. * Once you reach the part with the unlit torches, kill all the plant monsters there then light the torches one by one. * Follow the path up the slope and accross the bridge. * Stand between the two statues on the top right and play the Song of Light. * Enter the sanctuary and talk to Embrose. * Play the Lokomo song with him. Listen to the beat in the background if you're having trouble. ::::::Getting to the Fire Temple:::::: * Go to the train and set course to the Fire Temple. * There are 3 monsters flying around the region. * Drive in such a way that you run into them (Not behind them) * Once you have their attention blow your whistle so that you get one short and one long sound. * If done correctly the creature will freeze mid air and cover its ears. * Now you can shoot it with the canon to get the key. * Once a monster loses its key it will start running after you. Just whistle stun it again and knock it out. * When you have all 3 keys make your way to the Fire Temple while keeping the flyers stunned. ::::::Getting the Bow:::::: * Head forward until you reach the three doors, then go left. * Make your way between the spikes while avoiding the spinning flames. * Once your in the room with the skeletons, bring out the whip and let them have it. * They're easily defeated with the whip, but you'll hardly hit them with the sword. * Note where the pitfalls are here and mirror them on your map to the other side. * Head all the way right and up to Floor 2. * Jump onto the cart, take the key on the other side then jump back in to go back. * Back at the pitfall room, head left then up the closest stairs. * Use the boomerang to hit the switch and have a platform fall down. * Go to the entrance and open one of the locked doors. * Now take the platform and throw it on the rock formation in the hold to the right. * Jump accross. * Pull the block down twice, then right, and finally push it up. * Now you can push it from the left and have it act as a shield from the fire. * You should have noted the pitfal location from the other room. In order to get accross go: down - left - up - left - down - down - left, then straight up to the door. * On the next floor, enter the cart. * Once you're at the junction, hit the switch to go left. * Right at the next junction, hit the switch to go right. * Whip the skeleton into submission, take the key, then head back to the first floor. * Go down - down - right then all the way up to the stairs and jump down. * Jump accross the the begining and open the second locked door. * Stand in front of the middle door and use the boomerang to hit the two switches in one go rapidly. (Alternatively you can use bombs) * Go up and enter the room to fight a mini boss. * It will retract into its shell and try to ram you. Lure it so that it hits the shock balls running along the walls. * Take the bow from the chest. ::::::Getting to the Boss:::::: * Go right and stand in front of the junction. * Hit the red switch on the wall with an arrow. * In this room hit the blue orb with an arrow to make a bridge expand. * Jump right and take the treasure from the chest. * Pick up the blue orb here, jump back to the previous platform. * Stand at the edge and tap the little platform on the left to throw the orb there. * Pick up the other orb and position it one row higher, so it's at level with the one you just threw. * Hit it with your sword until it faces left. * Shoot an arrow at it now. * Cross the bridge, hit the orb until it faces left. * Throw it up to the other platform where the switch on the wall is. * Have the other orb face up and bring it to the first platform. * Shoot an arrow at it to make a bridge expand, cross over. * Once in the basement, just enter the open door and go down. * Kill all he Stalfos with the whip, but be careful of the bones they throw at you. * Look to your left and shoot an arrow at the orb accross the lava pond. * Once the time starts ticking take out your whip and run right, accross the lava pond. * Once accross, go left. * Get rid of the Stalfos here. * Jump on the platforms until you reach the third one. * Let it shoot you up, then jump over to the chest. * Swing yourself accross and hit the switch to create a shortcut. * Follow the path while avoiding the blades. * When you reach the chest, you'll see 2 unlit torches to your right. * In order to have your boomerang catch fire it must first hit one of the bats flying around. * Once both torches are lit, a new platform will fall down. * Jump over there and enter the door. * When you face the two turtles just fill their faces with arrows and be done with them. * Enter the next floor, and make your way to the room with the switch. * Above that room is a blue orb. Bring it down and drop it so it's in line with the wall switch behind the door. * Have the orb face left. * Step on the switch to make the door open and shoot an arrow at the orb to hit the switch and make a platform appear. * Take the platform up and drop it on the small volcano to the left. * Go back and pick up the blue orb. * Jump on the platform and have it carry you up. * Once up, take the platform off that volcano and carry it with you on the upper level. * Hit the switch closest to where you came up, just above. * There are 3 volcanos around the central pillar. * Place the platform on the left one. * Place the orb you brought with you on the right one (facing left). * Make the orb with diagonal directions face nort-east and put it on the lower volcano. * Stand on the platform and hit the switch near the door. * Once everything is up, hit the switch on your side with an arrow and then shoot an arrow to the diagonal orb. * Once the door is open, jump down and take the key. * Go back down and jump to the central platform using the newly formed swing path. * Head back through the room where you fought the Stalfos and through the locked door on the left. * Jump into the cart and let it run circles while you shoot at the 4 switches on the walls above the south room. * Shoot the switches in the follow order : 2 - 1 - 4 - 3 * Go all the way down to the third basement floor. * Note down the marked locations on the map on the left wall. * Jump accross the platforms to the left, take the bomb and bring it back right to blow up the boulder. * Take the platform and throw it onto the volcano. * Jump on it, wait until it shoots you up, then jump into the cart. * The marked locations are the switches that you need to be hitting in order to not hit any fire walls. * For the first route that's the first and third switch. * Once you're accross go stand at the ledge looking at the boss key. * Use the whirldwind to blow it into the cart on the other side. * The switches that need to be hit on the second router are the first, second and fourth. (Note that you'll need to use an arrow for the fourth one) * Take the boss key and open the door. ::::::Defeating Cragma:::::: * Once he tries to hit you, shoot an arrow at the glowing part of his base. * He will then try to hit you with both fists at once, avoid it and a giant boulder will fall down somewhere. * You have to position yourself so that when he tries to hit you the next time, he will crush that boulder. * Take the platform and carry it to one of the small volcanos on the right. * Jump over to the cart. (Not an easy jump, be careful!) * Now shoot all the glowing areas on his torse as you move around. He will occasionally stretch out his artm to grab you, shoot the palm to have it retreat. * There are 2 spots for every rail level. * Once you're on the top you have to hit him in the eye. * Use your arrow sparringly, if you run out of arrows mid-way you'll have to do it all over again. * Once he's down give him all you got. * This cycle repeat twice. The second time he will stretch both of his hands out for you, you have to shoot them both. 9. Over the Top: Tower of Spirits 5 ::::::Get to the top of the tower:::::: (NOTE: You will needs bombs for this part. If you haven't acquired them yet, do it.) * Enter the top-most area of the tower. * Do not rush this room. You'll have to wait for the phantoms to move to some other far off patrol point often. * Head right and blow up the wall section blocking your way down. * Be careful of the phantom though, don't let it see you. * Once the path is cleared, and the phantom is on the other side of its patrol route, make a run for the Tear. * Blow up the walls here, but once again make sure the phantoms don't see you. * Slowly make your way to the far top left of the room. * You'll have to blow up the walls leading to the left-most section of the room to get there. * Once there (the big safe zone) pull the first block out. * Pull the second block left then down, as far you can. * Head right and hit the switch. * Now go back to the entrance then right. * Blow your way to the right-most part of the room and go up. * Swing yourself over and take the small key. * Head to the top middle and enter the door. * On this floor head right, pick up the blue orb then head all the way left. * Follow the path until you get to a room with a switch. * Place the blue orb on the square in front of the door and stand on the switch. * Use the boomerang to make the orb on the other side facing up. * The orb you carried there should be facing left. * Hit the orb you carried with an arrow to have it hit the switch on the wall on the other side and expand a bridge. * Head right and across the bridge. * Turn left and, when the phantom appears, run as fast as you can towards the safe zone on the far left. * When you reach the wall before it, wait for the phantom and dodge it when it tries to roll into you. * When it destroys the wall enter the safe zone. * Wait for he phantom to go back to the right, then run for the Tear. * Head back left and up to the next floor. * Go to the top right part of the room, and push the block you see between the ledge with the switch and the ledge with the mark. * Head to the bottom right part and blow up the blocks until the blue orb reaches the ground. * Pick it up, go up the stairs to the switch and jump over to the other ledge via the block you moved. * Place the orb on the mark (It should be facing down). * Now you have to destroy the block structure in the middle. * If you don't have enough bombs, you can play tag with the phantom and have it bulldozer it away for you. * It's a big open space so it's not hard to dodge it. * Once the rubble is cleared, climb up the ledge on the left and hit the left orb on the long edge with your boomerang until it faces north. * Go to the switch now, step on it, and shoot an arrow at the blue orb to the left. * Go grab the last Tear! * Wait until the phantom is close to you and whack it with the sword. * Once Zelda is in the phantom, head back down to the previous floor. * Go across the bridge you expanded earlier. * Use Zelda to smash through the statues on the left. * Climb the stairs where the switch is, hit the blue orb to the north with your boomerang, then with an arrow. * Take the treasure then go down the stairs. * In this room it's all about pushing blocks. * Go left and push the left-most small block (the one next to the big one) 4 times down. * Have Zelda push the big one next to which the small one was standing to 3 times to the left. * Move Zelda around and push that same block up all the way to the wall. * Have her move around the right and push the block all the way left to cover the switches. * Push the small block you pushed earlier all the way to the left. * Go around and pull it down as far as you can. * Have Zelda move the big block that's block your path away. * Go out with Link, and back into the small corridor from the other side to push the small block on the switch. * Move Zelda to the bottom right area where the 2 big blocks are next to each other. * Move to the top side and pull the right one up one space. * Go around the left and below the block to pull the left one down one space. * Have Link push the small block that was next to the two big ones all the way to the right and down onto the switch. * There's a small block around the middle of the room which hasn't been touched yet. * Push it all the way to the right, all the way up, all the way to the right again, then up onto the switch. * Stand with Link on the last switch. * Go and grab the small key. * Head back up to the previous room and through the locked door on the right. * Have Zelda roll across he boulder path to the right and hit the switch on the other side. * Move across with Link. * Have Zelda clear the path to the south and move there. * Enter the door. * Once up, have Zelda and Link stand on one switch each to initiate a battle. * The Stalfos are easily dispatched off with the whip. * Once the other three monster come out, use th whip to get their shield away, after which it's only a matter of seconds to kill them. * Try to end the fight near the bottom right corner. * Once the phantoms are out, enter the safe zone. * Whack one of them in the back and have Zelda switch into that body (She must be close to you). * Once she's in the other body, head back down. She can now take you through the lava. * Go all the way left and pick up the blue orb. * Head back right and jump off of Zelda's back at the ledge where there are no stairs leading up to it (The one with the two marks on the floor). * Place the orb on one of them and have it face right. * Get back on Zelda and have her move to the wall up north (Where the 2 logs for swinging are). * Grab them and swing yourself to the left to the other blue orb. * You'll have to jump back on Zelda so position her at a suitable place so you don't go over her, nor fall short. * Move that orb to some of the platforms on the left side, no matter which one for now. * Have Zelda move link to the north wall, then swing yourself to the high ledge where the second orb was. * Move Zelda to the left and have her pick up the second orb. * Move her to the marks on the lower right platform (The orb needs to face left). * Now switch to Link, shoot an arrow on the right orb, and once the door is open, another arrow on the orb Zelda is holding. * Swing all the way to the right, and have Zelda join you. * Whack her with something to have her drop the orb. * Get up on her and finally to the door on the left that opened. * Nothing much to do on this floor, just head around and through the door. * Take control of Zelda here, and go up through the fires. * Head around the back across the second fire wall, then all the way down. * Turn right and go to the boss key. * Have Link close to her before you take the boss key, as wallmasters will appear. * Move along with her and kill the first 2 wallmasters you encounter. * Follow the path along the left wall until you reach the fire. * Now draw Zelda a ath all the way to the circle teleporter on the far right. * As she starts moving run to the parallel path with Link. * Defend her against the 2 wallmasters here with arrows. * Once she's there, go right on the second circle teleporter and switch places with her. * Have her unlock the door. * The fires will go out now so move Link to the door and enter. ::::::Defeating Byrne:::::: * Once he shoots his claw at you, dodge it and have it ram into the ground. * Have Zelda grab it and pull him own. * Nuke the hell out of him when he's down. * Once he comes down to attack, just keep pounding him nutil he does his charge attack. * If Zelda attacks him or you attack him with an arrow or someo ther projectile he will go up and either shoot 3 fast missiles at you or a slow one at Zelda (Move her to dodge it). * Once you whack him enough he will charge up his dark beam. * Hide behind Zelda when he does. * She will grab him. Attack him while she's holding him. * Repeat until he's dead. * Once he is down, go out and climb the rest of the tower. 10. Dunes of Doom: The Sand Realm ::::::Get to Rael:::::: * Once on the map, head right and into the dead end section of the newly formed rail. * Stop at the station here. * If you look at the map, there's a rectangular area of sand surrounded by the darker path in the middle. * Place a bomb apprixmatelly on the middle of the top-right quadrant of the area (image - Look at where Link's icon is on the minimap). * Go down and into Rael's room. * Talk to him and play the song. Listen to the background beat for guidance. ::::::Passing the first Trial:::::: * Head out to your train and north where the new spirit tracks were formed. * Once you're in the cave you'll fight the giant crab monster similar to the one in the Snow Realm. * Hit its eye as much as you can before it catches you. * Detonate the explosives when he's directly next to them. ::::::Passing the second Trial:::::: * When you enter the tunels, switch into reverse and go where you came from. * Do the same thing in the next area. * In the next area, turn right. ::::::Passing the third Trial:::::: * Run a circle around the temple and shoot down all the canons. * Make yourself a priority to shoot down their canonballs down first so you don't take any damage. * Once all canons are dead, head into the temple. ::::::Getting the Sand Wand:::::: * Go right from the entrance. * Play boulder dodging and go all the way up to the left turn. * Stand on the markers on the ground. The switch will be highlighted. * Shoot an arrow so that it hits the switch, and goes between the boulders. * Head left and take the chest. * These Stalfos have to die at the same time, so force them all into a corner and whip them into submission quickly. * Take the small key. * Head back to the central area, turn right as soon as you reach it and enter the locked door. * Up on the next floor go right and jump down. * Follow the path (avoid the sand blobs) until the room with the rotating spikes. * When the middle one goes up, follow it. * The right one will hit the wall earlier, forming a junction between the two where you can slip through. * Go up to the third floor. * Enter the room with the Stalfos. They are the same as the others, but instaed of throwing bones they slash at you. * Either dodge their slashes or interrupt them with the whip. * Once they're dead, head left and take the wand. ::::::Getting to the Boss:::::: * Head back right to the Stalfos room. * Stand right below the smaller wall segment and tap the rod under Link's feet to rise up and get beyond the wall. * Head back to the previous floor. * Form a sand wall for the spikes to stop them completelly. * When you reach the room with the sand blobs, hold the rod tapped on them to dry them out and kill them afterwards. * Go on either side, wait for the spikes to go away then run to the opposite wall. * Tap the sand wand below link to rise up on the ledge. * Make such a sand wall below to stop the spike in the middle (where there's no sand). * Run accross the spikes and down through the door. * Head right where the boulder path is. * You can now cross it easier by pushing yourself up with the sand wand at the beginning. * Once you're at the place where you had to shoot the arrow between the boulders, move the now static boulders to the side by creating walls beneath them with the sand wand. * Run to the left and push yourself up to the left ledge. * Push up the ground here until you find a small key within the sand. * Go down and push up the sand below yourself so you can jump over to the central part. * Now push the stone in the central section of the room to the wooden stand at the lower end. * Hit the switch and the door will be open. * Make yourself a bridge to the left and open the locked door. * Dry the two sand slimes and push each on one of the switches (Dodgy control). * To cross the sand lake, build a sand path and move over it quickly before it colapses. * Make your way to the right. * Push the block with the blue tip in the folow directions: right - down - right - down - left - up. * Go down and stand on the switch. * Now catch a boulder with a sand wall to stop it. * Move it to the wooden stand and while still standing on the switch, hit the orb switch with an arrow. * Now catch another boulder and slowly position it on top of the foot switch to keep the bridge expanded. * Go to the next, central part of this floor. * Push the left block right - down - down - right - up - right. * Push the right block left - left - down - down - left. * Move the (now left) block left - down - right - right - right - up. * Move the other block left - down * Move the first block up * Move the second block left - up - right - up - left - down. * Move the first block down. * Go left and use the chasm to avoid the spikes. * Dispatch of the two Stalfos. * At the upper half of the room there are two spike cylinders rotating accross a sand patch. * You need to stand at the top half of the sand patch and stop the spikes so that: you're on a higher level as well, and the lower spike cylinder is making a bridge to the switch platform. * The issue you can run into is that the upper and lower cylinder end up being only one space apart. * If that happens you won't be able to step on the lower cilinder as the upper one will knock you down. * If you've done all correctly run down and hit the switch. * Once the door is open use the sand wand to stop the two spike cylinders in such a manner that they form a long bridge to the other side. * Go up and into the room with the sand snails. * In order to defeat them, look where they're about the surface (turbulent sand) and force them out using the sand wand. * Push yourself up as well and kill them with the sword. * Enter the following room and search the ground with the sand wand until you find the boss key. * Make your way back to the central room where the two blocks were. * Make a bridge to the boss room, unlock and go in. ::::::Defeating Skeldritch:::::: * When he opens up the bottom of his spine to shoot a rock at you, form a sand wall to stop it. * Push the rock towards the wooden stand and shoot it off with the switch to destroy the spine fragment. * Once you get to the armored ones, they will only be vulnerable from one side. * The first armored one is vulnerable from the right. * Place a boulder on one of the catapults. * Move left to rotate the boss and have the vulnerable side point towards the loaded catapults. * Shoot an arrow at the switch next to the loaded catapult to destroy that spine fragment. * The next one is vulnerable from behind, repeat the same proceduer, just rotate the boss 180 degrees. * The last one is vulnerable on the left. * Get a boulder on one of the catapults, place a bomb next to the switch (You won't be able to reach it with the bow) * Quickly run to the right, just a bit past the next catapult. (The angle between the loaded catapult and link should be ~60 degrees) * Once the head is left, build up sand walls around it to trap it. * While it's busy eating through the sand, lift yourself up and behind it, then attack it with the sword. * Repeat this until it dies. * Once the boss is dead, pick up the bow, shoot the eye in the back and exit. 11. Diabolic Descent: Tower of Spirits 6 ::::::Get the Small Keys:::::: * Once you are back at the overworld, head right into the dead end. * When you see the portal, hit the green gem on top with the canon. * Keep blowing your whistle to keep the portal open and enter. * Now set course to the Tower of Spirits one last time. * Once there, head up to the top and into the blue portal. * Go through the room where you fought Byrne and all the way up to the top of the tower. * Charge up the light arrows and shoot the two eye switches. * Head down the stairs. * Fill up on arrows and bombs in the first room then head down once more. * Nothing much to do on the first floor for now, go up through the only door you can reach. * Hit the wall or do some other noise to attract a phantom to your location. * When it turns around hit it and have Zelda enter. * Go back up. * Move Zelda to the right across the spikes and onto the switch. * Descend into the Lava and have Link jump on her shield. * Wait until the phantom is on the far right of his patrol path, then move Zelda in front of the lower ledge where the switch is. * Throw a bomb next to the switch so it doesn't go off right away. * While the bomb is burning, quickly go around the right, then up and left on the first turn to reach the second switch. * Hit it with the whip or some other weapon within the time limit and the door will open. * Enter the dark room and blow out the torch at the safe zone using the Whirlwind. * Go down from the start and blow out the torch here. * Go back to the safe zone, then up. * Follow the path to the left until you reach a tablet, and blow out the two torches on your way. * Now move down, but stick to the left wall so you don't fall into the hole. * Once you reach the door, go right and blow out the torch here. * Move back to the door. * Wait until the fire phantom is just past the door, then blow out the final torch. * Whack the phantom and have Zelda switch into it. * Go back up to the previous floor. * Move your way across the lava and up through the door you first went into. * Go to the bottom left corner of the room and light the two torches to open the door. * In this room go right and jump into the sand (Make sure you leave Zelda up). * Kill the Stalfos. * Make Zelda a bridge using the sand wand to the two torches. * You need to move her quick before the sand collapses. * Move her back and in front of the small ledge with the stairs. * You can use this to jump on her back now. * Make your way with the sand wand to the chest that appeared on the far right to get a small key. * Go back once again, up to the floor where you started. * Go across the lava and into the dark room again. * Go left into the room where you got the fire phantom and then all the way down until you reach a room with 2 closed doors. * Light the torches as you go along. * Pass the room with the closed doors and go to the left. * Light up all the torches in the room where the phantom appears. * You now have to play tag with it. * Have it see you so it moves away from the door. * Have Zelda keep it busy for a few seconds until you go around it and hit it in the back. * Switch Zelda into it. * Charge up the light arrow and shoot the eye on the wall where the phantom was. * Head back once again, accross the lava lake and into the section of the dark room with the two regular phantoms. * Go to the far top-left corner (Be mindful of the phantoms) and blow up the wall with a bomb. * Enter and go past the 2 corridors. * In this room have Zelda stand just above the sand patch. * Stand on the sand patch with Link and push yourself up with the rod. * Now you can jump on Zelda's back and have her carry you to the switch. * Hit the switch and move Link to the circle teleporter to the south. * Have Zelda teleport to the sentry below just as it hovers above the other circle teleporter. * Once they switch, move Link to the safe zone on the right. * Teleport Zelda to the sentry again, this time when it's above the ground to the right, next to the spikes. * Move her across the spikes on the triangular teleporter. * Move Link to the other one. * Move Link up and have the phantom see you. * Lure it into the sand. * Hit the switch with a charged light arrow before the phantom re-appears. * Go to the triangular teleporter and switch with Zelda again. * Move Link to the safe zone to the right and have Zelda join him. * Now move Zelda up next to the sand region above. * Go into it with Link and push yourself up. * Jump onto Zelda's back. * Move all the way to the right and in front of the hole where the marks are on the ground. * Hit the blue orb across the hole on the left with the boomerang twice to have it face up. * Hit it with a fully charged light of the room. * Hit the eye switch with a fully charged light arrow. * Take the small key from the chest then head back up through the door where you come from. * Roll over the statues on the upper part of the room to reveal the last small key. * Head back down and all the way to the left, through the newly opened door. * Continue left to where the warp phantom is. * Distract it with Zelda and hit it in the back, the switch Zelda into it. * Go back to the room where the two locked doors were, and go down to the safe zone and the door leading down. * You'll end up in a corridor with 3 locked doors. ::::::The first door:::::: * NOTE: You need to have the Warp Phantom for this room. Enter the leftmost door, follow the corridor and go down. * Leave Zelda up for now and head with Link across the sand patch. * Hit the switch and the move Zelda across the bridge. * Have her stand next to the stand patch and push Link up with the sand wand. * Jump on her back. * Have her take you to the hole in the lower part of the room. * From her back, swing yourself across the hole and step on the switch. * Move her across the bridge. * Go up until the phantom appears. * Teleport Zelda to the sentry when its on the right side. * Move up with Link to that edge using the sand wand, just as he phantom there starts moving up. * Hit it in the back and have Zelda switch into it. You won't change phantoms but you'll get rid of that one. * Teleport Zelda to the sentry when it's on the left platform. * Pick up the orb. * Go up the small pedestal with Link and hit the orb with the boomerang until it faces north. * Hit it with a fully charged light arrow to hit the switch. * Move them both back to the door from which you entered and go back to the corridor with the locked doors. * Go back to the dark room and switch the Warp Phantom with the fire phantom. * Head back up and into the second locked room. ::::::The second door:::::: * NOTE: You need to have the Fire Phantom for this room. Use Zelda to light the top-left torch. * Use the boomerang to light the bottom-right and top-right torch, in that order. * Use Zelda to light the bottom-left torch. * Go left and hit the eye with with a charged light arrow. * Head back down to the corridor with the doors. * Go into the dark room and switch your phantom with a rolling one. ::::::The third door:::::: * NOTE: You need to have the Rolling Phantom for this room. Move to the left boulder corridor with Zelda and make your way up to the switch in the safe zone. * Now move Link up as well. * Go left and break through the statues on the south side. * Have the sentry see Link so the Warp Phantom appears. * Stun it with Zelda then hit it in the back with the sword. * Have Zelda posses it. * Go back to the corridor with the locked doors. * Enter the first door and go left. * Go with Link to the right ledge where the Warp Phantom was patrolling. * Jump to the right region where the Stalfos is. * Stand with link on the circle teleporter. * Port Zelda to the right-most sentry and move her up to the other circle teleporter. * Once they switch, move Zelda up to the switch. * Have Link shoot a charged light arrow at the blue orb and the switch will be activated. * Port Zelda to the right and head back down to the corridor with the 3 doors. * Enter the middle door and go up through the newly opened door. ::::::Get the Compas of Light:::::: * Up in this room you will face three waves of enemies. * The first one is easily dealt with. Zelda can kill them, as can arrows. * The Stalfos wave is more dangerous. The most important thing to not is to not get surrounded. Get into a corner that's clear and pick them off one by one. * The three shield lizards are the most dangerous, since their fire breath has a huge range. Dispose of their shields with the whip and slice em down as fast as possible while dodging the fire. * In the next room, go right to the safe zone. * Wait until the Fire Phantom is close to you then hit it in the back and have Zelda enter it. * Light the two torches at the door. * Whack the Warp Phantom inside and enter it. * You'll probably be spotted, so run for the safe zone on the left. * Once it's all clear wait until all the phantoms are on the right side, and have the sentry see Link. * Lure it across the sand patch, then teleport Zelda there (Note that the other phantoms can't cross the sand either). * Stand with each of them on one switch to open the door. * Once the sentry respawns port Zelda back. * Meet up with Link and go grab the rolling phantom. * Bulldozer the statues in front of the double winged door. * Head there with Link as well. Stun the regular phantom that is standing guard with Zelda before you enter the central room. * Once you're in the safe zone with both of them, open the door and enter. * Take the Compass. 12. Final Battle: The Dark Realm ::::::Finding the Demon Train:::::: * Head to the new section of the rail map, in the forest realm west of Aboda Village. * Pick up the Tears of Light. * While invincible, smash into the evil trains. * Be careful - one mistake and you have to start all over again! * You can see red teleporters on the map. You can use them to get to the trains on the top half. * The most dangerous section is the top right, as you have 2 trains patroling it and only one Tear in the middle of them. * Also note that the evil trains can reverse direction mid-track to follow you. * Once all trains are dead the final fight will begin. ::::::Defeating the Demon Train:::::: * With all of his 3 carts attached, the trani will try to shoot bomb barrells at you from the third cart. * Destroy them before they get out to damage the cart. * Once Zelda gives the warning, switch into reverse for an emergency break to avoid getting rammed by him. * If you end up being behind him, drive slower and if he breaks, you break as well to again, not ram into his back. * Always try to be at his side and destroy the barrels. * Once that cart is destroyed, he will enter a portal and phase 2 begins. * Aside from him you will have dark energy balls on the tracks which you need to avoid. On a rail fork always go where the path is clear. * He will try to attack you with laser cannon. Wait until the laser is loaded the shoot at it to destroy it. * You will often have o rely on your gut instinct or just luck to determine whether he will switch rails and which way you should go. Just be careful. * Once that cart is destroy the final phase begins. * Drive up next to him. When he starts shooting beams from the crystals on his side, shoot all of them. * Drive up in front of him and shoot him in the face. * Repeat that process until he moves in behind you. * Keep shooting at his face until he finally gives in. He sometimes seems to repel shots at this stage. Just pause for a few seconds the continue. ::::::Defeating Cole and Malladus:::::: * The point of this fight is to make your way to Malladus while dealing with what Cole throws at you. * He will release rats that will run around Zelda. You must destroy them before they make a full circle. * If you don't, Zelda will be electrocuted and Cole will control her like a puppet. * Sever the strings with the boomerang to regain control if that happens. * As you get closer to Malladus he will start shooting off a beam. You must remain behind Zelda constantly. * The floor will shift, be careful. * One Zelda reached Malladus both her and Cole will float up to the upper screen. * You must aim a Light Arrow and shoot Malladus from the lower screen. Keep your hands steady. ::::::Defeating Malladus:::::: * This fight consists of 3 different parts: Protecting Zelda, weakening Malladus and finally defeating Malladus. * Zelda will start channeling light. You have to protect her from the flaming stones Malladus throws at her. * The first few are straight forward - just slash at them with your sword. (Note that you have to actually slash, you can't target them) * Two of them will be shot on either the far left or far right and will bounce off towards Zelda. You need to run to hit them on time. * The most difficult part of this phase, and the whole fight, is when Malladus shoots 4 rocks at once. * You have to stand near Zelda and as the rocks approach do a series of whirlwind attacks to repel them all. * Once the first wave of 4 rocks is done, Malladus will shoot a few more single rocks and then the final wave will consist of 2 waves of 4 rocks. * If you managed to repel everything, Zelda will shoot the light on Malladus. * If you fail at any point, the cycle is restarted. * If Zelda gets hit, you lose hearts. * You will now have to play a song with Zelda in order to weaken Malladus. * It's not a hard song, just remember to listen to the beat in the background. * The final phase requires you to take Malladus' attention and position him so that his back is turned towards Zelda. * In order to get his attention, slash at his front legs. * Once he turns to you keep rotating him. * Watch the upper screen all the time. Once Zelda has a clear shot the target cursor will change into a yellow star-like icon. * When that happens, press the new button at the bottom of your touch screen to have her shoot. * After 3 successful shots, Malladus will be on the ground. * Slash at him until you break his horn. * Repeat the cycle and break his second horn as well. * Once both horns are broken it will only take one more shot from Zelda to get him to the ground. * A few more slashes and Link will ram his sword into his skull. * Soon after you'll be clashing with Malladus. Rub the touch screen until Zelda is there and the battle is won.
