1.24, the Major Speedup Edition.
Dramatically cuts down on the time needed to render sound, as well as frames in games without special chips.
Technical:
* Decide only once before every frame whether the extension chips (SA-1 and Super FX) are used during the frame. Formerly, SA-1 chip decisions would be done about a million times per second, and Super FX decisions about 300. (cpuexec.cpp)
* Sound mixing: Avoid memory zeroing, addition and stores per SNES sound channel AND playback sample. Now only one store is done per playback sample, and the rest is done in registers. (soundux.cpp)
