       touch - change file timestamps

SSYYNNOOPPSSIISS
       ttoouucchh [_O_P_T_I_O_N]... _F_I_L_E...

DDEESSCCRRIIPPTTIIOONN
       Update  the  access  and modification times of each
       FILE to the current time.

       Mandatory arguments to long options are  mandatory
       for  short  options too.

       --aa     change only the access time

       --cc, ----nnoo--ccrreeaattee
              do not create any files

       --dd, ----ddaattee=_S_T_R_I_N_G
              parse STRING and use it instead of current time

       --ff     (ignored)

       --mm     change only the modification time

       --rr, ----rreeffeerreennccee=_F_I_L_E
              use this file's times instead of current time

       --tt STAMP
              use [[CC]YY]MMDDhhmm[.ss] instead of current time

       ----ttiimmee=_W_O_R_D
              change the specified time: WORD is access,
              atime, or use: equiv‐ alent to --aa WORD
              is modify or mtime: equivalent to --mm

       ----hheellpp display this help and exit

       ----vveerrssiioonn
              output version information and exit

       Note that the --dd and --tt options accept different
       time-date formats.

       If a FILE is -, touch standard output.
